Dr. Mohamed Bassuoni is soliciting master?s and PhD positions in the areas of cementitious materials, concrete technology and durability of concrete. Research areas include, but are not limited to, development of nano-modified cementitious composites and concretes, degradation of concrete under multiple damage mechanisms (physical, chemical and structural), and prediction of in-service performance of cementitious materials under aggressive exposure conditions. Candidates must have strong academic credentials and research potential or background in these areas. Interested candidates must provide the following documents:

1- Transcripts and graduation certificates
2- A one-page research statement
3- An English language proficiency test certificate (IELTS: a minimum score of 6.5 on the Academic Module; or TOEFL: a minimum iBT score of 80, or a minimum PBT of 550)
4- PhD candidates must have completed their MSc thesis in the areas of cementitious materials, concrete technology or durability of concrete, and must provide a sample of their writing (research publications, or a chapter from their MSc dissertation).
